Each story progresses through rounds. When a round is open, any member can write and submit a paragraph continuing the story. Once the round closes, all submissions go to a vote. The community reads every entry and picks the one that becomes part of the story's canon. Then a new round begins.

After the submission window closes, a voting window opens. All members can read the submitted paragraphs and vote for their favourite. The entry with the most votes is woven into the story. In the event of a tie, the earlier submission wins.

Not after the submission window closes — once voting begins, all entries are locked so the vote is fair. You can edit your draft freely while the round is still open.

Nothing permanent. You can still read the winning paragraph and vote in the next round. Rounds run continuously, so there is always another opportunity to write.

Yes. Any member can start a new collaborative story by writing an opening hook. From there, other writers can join and contribute in rounds. Head to the Stories section and look for the option to start a new story.

Use the flag option on any story or submission. Our moderation team reviews flagged content and takes action according to our community guidelines. You can also contact us directly using the form below.

Yes. Go to your profile settings and choose Delete Account. This removes your personal information from our systems. Contributions you wrote that became part of a community story remain in that story's canon, attributed anonymously.
